Lip Syncing

Lip syncing was one of the most difficult tasks I encountered when editing. Firstly this was because we had to ensure that Harry, our on screen singer knew the lyrics to the song as well as the timings for them. To ensure that harry sang the lyrics in the correct timings, we played the track along side the filming of the lip syncing, allowing him to be sure that he was singing the correct lyrics and alongside the song in time with it.
Secondly, it was very difficult to cut and put the clip into the exact place alongside the track when editing. If the clip was even a fraction of a second out of place the visuals would not match the lyrics and it would be out of time.
However I think that I managed to get the clip in time very well with the lyrics in the song, making it look very professional. Below are images of harry lip syncing as well as a screen shot of when I edited the footage to the song.
